Refund & Cancellation Policy

LaunchPad provides access to a curated job discovery platform and career tools. Because our service involves digital platform access — not physical goods or guaranteed employment outcomes — our refund policy is structured accordingly. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a subscription.

1. Free trial

All new members on the Insider plan are offered a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will activate and your payment method will be charged for the first billing period.

2. Cancellation policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access until that date.
Cancellation stops auto-renewal. It does not result in an immediate refund for the current period unless you qualify under Section 3 below.
We will send a confirmation email when cancellation is processed.

3. Refund eligibility

Situation	Eligible for refund?
Cancel during 7-day free trial	✓ Yes — no charge at all
Technical error resulting in duplicate charge	✓ Yes — full refund of duplicate amount
Platform was completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault	✓ Yes — pro-rated refund for downtime period
Member feels the platform did not provide value (within first 30 days of first paid period)	✓ Reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support.
Cancellation after the current billing period has started (standard)	✗ No — access continues until period end
Annual plan cancelled mid-year (standard)	✗ No — no pro-rated refund for remaining months
Did not receive employment offer or interview	✗ No — LaunchPad provides platform access, not employment outcomes
Account suspended due to Terms violation	✗ No refund

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at support@launchpad.in with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Registered Email]". Include:

Your registered email address
Date of payment
Transaction ID (available in your payment confirmation email)
Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method, subject to the payment gateway's processing timelines.

5. GST on refunds

If a refund is approved, the GST component of the refund will also be returned. A revised GST invoice or credit note will be issued within 5 business days of the refund being processed.

6. Plan changes

Upgrade: If you upgrade from Explorer to Insider or Elite mid-cycle, the price difference is charged immediately on a pro-rated basis for the remaining days in your billing period.
Downgrade: If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing period. No partial refund is issued for the current period.
